Foča, in Bosnia's Republika Srpska, hosts Bachata Rafting at the Rafting Centre RT — the world's one and only bachata-plus-Drina-river-rafting weekender. The event is the scene: an all-inclusive Spring Connection edition in UNESCO-protected nature, with no other Latin programming in town.
Bosnia's Latin scene runs through the 18th-edition Sarajevo Salsa Congress each January at Hotel Hills — three nights of salsa, bachata, and kizomba parties with a dedicated sensual floor, drawing dancers from Spain, Cuba, Venezuela, the US, and across the Balkans.
