DMCA

Effective 31 August 2026

If you own copyright in material that appears on Socialpass without your permission, this is how to ask us to take it down.

What this covers

Organizers and others upload listings, copy, and images to Socialpass. We host that material. A copyright owner can ask us to remove specific material they own. This page is that request path. It is not a way to report a fake event, a refund, or a safety concern — those go through Help and Safety.

How to send a notice

Email [email protected] with the subject line “DMCA takedown”. Include all of the following. A notice that is missing any of them cannot be acted on.

1. Your physical or electronic signature.

2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed. If several works are on one page, a representative list is enough.

3. The exact URL of the Socialpass page that hosts the material, and enough detail that we can find the specific file or passage.

4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.

What happens next

If the notice is complete, we remove or disable access to the named material and tell the uploader. We may restore it if we receive a valid counter-notice and you do not file a court action. We do not promise a response time.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, email the same address with a counter-notice. It must include your signature, identification of the removed material and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake, your name, address, and phone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, for any district where Socialpass may be found), plus acceptance of service of process from the original complainant.

Repeat infringement

We close accounts that repeatedly post infringing material. Questions about this policy: [email protected].
