Toronto's Latin dance scene runs deep in the west end, with long-standing rooms on Dundas and College Streets.
Montreal punches above its weight — a Thursday-through-Sunday Latin circuit anchored at Espaces des Arts on Sainte-Catherine, plus a strong kizomba/semba scene with its own festival each June (KIZO).
A compact but multi-style scene with weekday socials concentrated downtown around Mangos Kitchen Bar on Howe Street and Baza Dance Studios on Seymour, plus a Brazilian Zouk community anchored by Baza. Pa' Gozar Fridays at Dance Vancouver Studio on West Broadway is the long-running salsa/bachata staple.
Ottawa's most established weekly is Rahim's Latin Fridays at St John's Anglican on Elgin Street — running since 2007 with salsa, bachata and kizomba in one big room.
Haliente Dance Studio above Elles Bistro on Barrington Street is Halifax's hub — weekly Thursday salsa social with lesson plus DJ, regular Saturday socials, and the annual Halifax Salsa & Bachata Festival each August on the waterfront.
The Underdog Dance Corp's free outdoor 'Salsa in the Square' at Waterloo Public Square is the region's Thursday-evening anchor each May–September. The Underdog also hosts an indoor Thursday social at Rare Nightclub during the cooler months, and the new Waterloo Salsa Bachata Festival debuts June 2026.
Calgary's free Thursday Rueda/Salsa/Bachata night at Marda Loop is the long-running community anchor; the Calgary International Salsa Congress takes over the Hyatt every spring.
Mont-Tremblant village hosts Salsa Tremblant — a free outdoor street festival in the Laurentian resort village run by the Canadian Salsa Festival Project. It's a summer-mountain destination event, not a year-round scene; Montréal carries the weekly circuit.
Edmonton's outdoor Salsa in the Square at Sir Winston Churchill Square is the city's free Wednesday-night spring/summer ritual, presented by the Edmonton Arts Council with ETOWN SALSA.
Victoria's Salsa Caliente Dance Studio (downtown) runs the Friday social — Vancouver Island's Latin anchor with strong Cuban-style following.
Winnipeg Salsa Dance Society runs the Saturday social at the Park Theatre on Osborne — the prairie capital's main weekly Latin night.
Québec City's francophone Latin scene runs at L'Académie de Salsa Cubaine — Saturday social downtown, weekly Cuban-style classes feeding the social.
