The 15th-edition Sofia International Salsa-Bachata-Kizomba Congress at Park Hotel Moskva is the year's anchor (March), with the Bachata Sofia Festival at the National Palace of Culture opening the year in January. Studio Dance Station, Studio Restart, Picante, Latin Force, and PaLante all run mid-week class + social grids.
Bulgaria's Black Sea capital. The 15th-edition Summer Salsa Fest Varna takes over Varna Free University 'Chernorizets Hrabar' across four nights at the end of July — five open-air halls programming LA/NY salsa, Cuban timba, bachata, kizomba, and zouk.
Borovets ski-resort town an hour south of Sofia. Hosts the long-running Balkan Salsa-Bachata-Kizomba Congress each November at Hotel Samokov — four nights of workshops across eight halls plus pool and after-parties.
Bulgaria's second city anchors its Latin year around the Music & Dance Festival of Love — 4th edition at the Radisson Hotel each February, with workshops by Maykel Fonts (Cuba), Idaira (Spain), David & Inés (Spain), and a Bulgarian DJ lineup.
